These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ice Fishing Live mobile application ("the app") provided by Ice Fishing Live developed by VMNS Techno Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Your access to and use of the app is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the app.
2. Description of the Service
Ice Fishing Live is a utility application that helps you pick and log winter activities. Core features include a decision wheel, an activity journal with photo support, illustrated tips, a winter wildlife field guide, achievement badges, and per-activity packing checklists. All content ships within the app and works offline. The app is not a game of chance and contains no gambling, wagering, or monetary mechanics of any kind.
3. License & Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or included content
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
- Attempt to interfere with, compromise the security of, or otherwise tamper with the app or its services
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
4. User Content
Journal entries, photos, notes, location labels, ratings, and any other content you create inside the app ("User Content") remain yours. User Content is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You are solely responsible for User Content, including ensuring that you have the right to any photographs you attach. We do not claim ownership over User Content and we do not back it up — if your device is lost, reset, or uninstalled, User Content may be lost.
5. Intellectual Property
The app, including illustrations, tips, wildlife entries, activity descriptions, badge designs, copy, and code, is the property of Ice Fishing Live developed by VMNS Techno Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
6. Safety Disclaimer
Tips and activity descriptions inside the app are provided for general informational and inspirational purposes only. They are not a substitute for qualified local knowledge, weather or ice-condition reports, or professional guidance. Winter activities can be dangerous. You are responsible for your own safety and for assessing conditions before heading out. Check local ice thickness, avalanche risk, and weather forecasts from authoritative sources. When in doubt, stay in. We accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the app.
7. No Warranties
The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your requirements, or that defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ice Fishing Live developed by VMNS Techno Labs, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the app.
9. Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services (Google Play Services, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AppsFlyer) for installation, notifications, and analytics. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be on this page. If the revision is material, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ice Fishing Live developed by VMNS Techno Labs operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
